I created Herbal Rootz not just to help people reach their hair goals by length,  I wanted to provide products that will ensure health above all. By doing so, we are able to create a conductive environment that encourages growth and maintains a healthy scalp. The health of our hair is vital to any growth and coupling that attitude with a consistent regimen that truly cares for your hair, you will reach your hair goals in no time.

I started doing my own hair at the age of 13 which led to excessive breakage after frying my hair day after day. No matter what my mom said about embracing my curls & texture, I still fell into the social norms of getting weaves with leave out because my hair wasn't as long or as full as I wanted it. It wasn't until I reached the age of 23 when I decided to become my own hair goals. I got tired of not feeling confident because of how short my hair was and how damaged my hair had become. I have always been a huge advocate on "if you don't like something about yourself, change it". So that's what I did; I invested in my hair. I did TONS of research, tried thousands of products and finally, I figured it out. A big chop wasn't needed; so I made a vow to be consistent with my hair regimen and embrace my own hair texture and curl pattern without wishing it looked like someone else's.
